Hi. I'm MariIyn. I'm a continuous student of faith, words, food and life.

Faith - This is the most important thing in my life and (perhaps as a result) the hardest thing for me to understand and convey.

Words - I delight in words and find an evocative turn of phrase very satisfying. There isn't much that I won't consider reading, but in general, I steer clear of gratuitous content. I am not opposed to adult material, but it needs to add something meaningful to the text.

Food - Cooking is a relatively new love. I've heard that the thrill wears off, but I hope that isn't the case. Right now, we're still working towards being completely natural around each other. I gravitate towards simple recipes, bold flavors and comforting textures. 

Life - Living authentically and healthfully seem like such small goals, but they are big challenges. I seek to love God, family, friends and myself but often seem to be neglecting one or two of those.

Also - I am happily married and working in libraries.
