Who am I? {part 2 of 2}

(See part 1

I'm a/an...

...untrained poet.
...noisy laugher, sneezer and dish-stacker.
...happy wife/daughter/sister/aunt.
...sensible shoe wearer.
...unapologetic homebody.
...home cook.
...enthusiastic dancer.
...tea drinker (not a coffee drinker).
...incompetent singer.
...recovering perfectionist.
...small town girl at heart.
...serial tidier.
...sweaty card player.
...progressive-thinking, traditional librarian.
...curious photographer.
...sucker for comfort food.
...wannabe sailor.

I'm also...

...at times, the polar opposite of those things.
...several more things that I have yet to realize.
...going to be many other things in the future.

Question - How do you define yourself? Can you sum yourself up more concisely than I can?

  1. Let's give it go.
I am a family person who thrives on structure, a well turned phrase, and learning.

As you can see, you did your definition with specifics and I did mine with generalities. However, here is an expansion of my general definition.
--My family, immediate and extended, is where most of my energies go. They provide most things for me including emotional support and entertainment.
--I need structure or I get anxious--meaning it's hard for me to adjust to change.
--I love language used well. That can be in a book, TV show, movie or conversation. I really admire people who are good with this.
--New things and learning about them excite me. However, this has to be done with a home base near by. Meaning, taking a trip to a new place is great, but only if I go back home to the familiar.

    1. That was a good, evocative summary. Hello, fellow homebody. :-)
