Weekly round-ups

Weekly, online round-ups appear to be a popular type of series, with bloggers list their favorite articles, images, discussions, etc. from the week. The ones I enjoy the most are those that consistently introduce material that I haven't yet seen and align with my interests.

The round-ups that currently keep me coming back each week are:

Friday Favorites by Iowa Girl Eats - drool-worthy recipes, motivating exercise ideas, pretty places and plenty of other fun stuff. The images are just captivating. [Fridays]

The Weekend Dish by Brown Eyed Baker - the blog's recipes from the week and also links to several other bloggers' yummy ideas. I almost always click through to several of the recipes.[Saturdays]

Weekly Countdowns (most recent) by Best Body Fitness - interesting health and fitness-related links and also plenty of general interest fun. I like how the blogs/articles keep me engaged with practical health issues. [Saturdays]

Bean Bytes by The Lean Green Bean - health and fitness-related news, blogs and tweets from the week, day by day. They definitely keep me from feeling out of the loop. [Mondays]

Sunday Superlatives (most recent) by Rachel Held Evans - thought-provoking blog posts/articles on faith issues. Regardless of whether I agree or disagree, I always walk away challenged. [Sundays]

Question - What other rounds-ups should I check out?

  1. Thanks for the heads up about some new blogs. I have mixed feelings about weekly roundups. I like exposure to new blogs I haven't seen, but I really don't need another reason to spend more time on the computer. :)

  2. I like your roundup choices, especially the last one. (I feel like I've come across Rachel Held Evans before, on Facebook or something.) I think Design Mom comes up with some really interesting finds (www.designmom.com).

    1. Ooo...I do like her "A Few Things" roundup. Very eclectic. And on a unrelated note, it's so nice to have you back in blogland. :-)

  3. Thank you, Marilyn! It's good to be back. I missed the compass effect that my handful of favorite blogs have on keeping me going in the right direction.
